How do we pay for an in-home nurse?Blue Heron Skilled Nursing Services is a privately held Professional Service Corporation that operates independently of Medicare or Medicaid. Clients pay out of pocket for our services. Each situation is unique and evaluated based on frequency and time. We bill per visit or in fifteen minute increments depending on the type of work. Some long term care insurance companies cover a registered nurse's services in the home. Some do not. We will work with them if able. Blue Heron Skilled Nursing also works with some clients that receive state waiver provided caregiver/nursing services.
